Evaluation of presentation

In my view my presentation was well rehearsed and had the information that was asked for was included. My overall score was 10, which I think was reasonable. My reasons for this is that the information i gave in my presentation was well presented and used media terminology. For example i had talked about binary opposition and theorist such as prop's, . The media language on my production was well studied, as i linked it very well to the text and found key examples.

Also with the feedback given from the class, I saw that they thought i understood the text well and explained key issues well. Some pointed out that I used different software and tried to be different by embedding the power point. Another point where they agreed that my presentation shared and gave the right information and that it was well rehearsed.

However there were also some points where i clearly need to improve on which were told to me by Mr Bush. There should have been a conclusion, and the pace should have been slower. As i read to fast and only had 8 slides overall. I also should have included more media terminology, which would have helped make the presentation marks. Another point where I could improve would be I had sentences on the power point and they shouldn't be there, although i did improvise and not read it straight off. And finally slides should be more linked to help the overall flow of the presentation.

Overall i think the presentation was good, but for next time I think i could do a lot more and get the marks up overall by for example involving the audience and teacher , adding more terminology wherever needed, using only bullet point and to give the audience eye contact. by doing these next time around I should and maybe get to queen of the blog Gurpreet level.... hopefully.
